    Instructions

For those using the previous beta build, you'll still have to install this version manually. Please follow the instructions below.

Note: Those on open beta one build, please disable the lock screen security(pin/pattern/password) before updating to open beta 3.
    1. Download the appropriate package - OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 5T
    2. Open the File Manager and move the downloaded .zip package from the Downloads folder to the root directory.
    3. Open Settings - System - System updates, press the cogwheel on the top right corner, choose the Local upgrade option, and select the rollback file.
Users who are on Stable build or Andriod 9 open beta build can update to this build only via update from recovery. For those, PLEASE NOTE, your entire data will be wiped.
    • Turn off the device -> Press power and volume up key simultaneously until the device enters the Fastboot Mode
    • Navigate to Recovery option using volume and power button -> Choose English -> Install from Internal storage -> Select the downloaded zip file -> Select 'Yes'
    • Wait until the installation is complete -> Reboot
    Note:
    1. OnePlus Switch cannot back up data stored in lockbox,
it is recommended to move the lockbox data out or save it to other equipment to avoid data loss.
    2. After this update, the backups from OnePlus Switch may not show up. You can fix this issue by updating to the latest OnePlus Switch version from the play store.
    3. Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are not as stable as our official OTAs. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks. As always, please share your feedback through https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/. Great work and Thanks for new update.
Already updated and will note any improvements or bugs here.

    Improvements from previous build:
    - More fluid animations, ui feels more smoother then previous beta build.
    - back gesture working far better than before.
    - No battery drain whatsoever after update, even without clearing any cache from boot menu.
After first re-charge cycle I've noticed SOT even better then before
    - No problem in using UPI apps this time around.

    Bug noticed till now:

    1. When switching to 1080p 60 in camera ui, and then switching to photo mode you can't switch to video tab again. working for front but not on back camera. (Resolved by uninstalling update in camera settings and clearing data)
Also EIS not working - still not working properly

    2. Spotify icon won't show on notification bar, until you scroll down notification tray down.

    3. Phone would not connect automatically to recognised bluetooth devices (bluetooth speaker in my case), have to connect manually everytime now.

    4. Call recording not working properly, recorded voice isn't clear.

    5. In screenshot share option it says "Share Bug Report"

    6. When changing something in customisation option it reset everything held in memory, like all my tabs in browser get closed.

    7. Still that empty space below the keyboard.

Since Android 10 going to be last update for the 5/5T series please add:

    - Old Gestures

    - Bluetooth Equaliser and extra control over bluetooth settings for OnePlus accessories like bullets wireless z like Quick pair etc.

    - Always on display.

    - To add any app to parallel apps space.

    - Ram boost and optimisation

    - DC dimming

    - Full dark mode not this grayish one.

    - Cache cleaner in Memory Option

    - Option to disable Gaming mode, I'm not a fan of this particular feature, I never observed noticeable difference when it's switched on yet the phone become hotter faster and battery drain even more.

8 items are better than what was provided in beta 1 and 2. still the question is whether dc dimming, ramboost features are coming or not. what about the new ideas to be implemented in oxygen os? will oneplus see those?

Are files the wrong way round again, as downloading the 5T zip is not visible in my local upgrade option.

please ignore my post, i forgot to move it to the root.
