You can do the same thing you did to install open beta 1. As stated in the first post.

Did anyone notice the huge gap on the homescreen. Is it normal or some kind of a bug. It's a little annoying. even the keyboard is a bit raised now. Please fix this.

    hi there,

Does anyone know how to get Wi-Fi sharing over hotspot to work?

I have enabled Wi-Fi extender under developers option and also enabled extend Wi-Fi coverage under advanced setting of my home Wi-Fi network.

Then I tried turning on the Wi-Fi hotspot but what it does is turn off the Wi-Fi and starts sharing my mobile network instead.

Searched a lot about solutions and tried below,

    - reset network under backup option
    - re add the home Wi-Fi
    - changed the band. tried both actually 2.5 and 5
    - try without WPA security i.e none

The device is 5T with android 10 beta 2.

the problem I am trying to address is, my laptop does not catch the Wi-Fi very strongly but phone does. So I thought of using this feature to ensure strong and stable connection for laptop too.

P.S.- I don't want to try the apps first as this seems to be better and native solution.

Before doing clean install that you can try clearing the cache & storage for the apps where you are seeing issues.

Is anyone facing issues with alert slider?
it was working fine for me in Android 9. After clean upgrade to Android 10 open beta 2 started facing issues. Seeing the same with Open Beta 3.

WiFi continues to crash in Beta 3 for me. Same problem in Beta 1 and Beta 2 - but now perhaps worse. A little disappointing given the same problem in three beta releases.

I tried recording logs and forwarding them via the OnePlus Community App but the logs failed in uploading (because of WiFi crashing). Just moving between tabs in the Community App caused WiFi to crash. The WiFi connection re-establishes in 10 to 20s but will crash again and again.
Most of the time the crashes are related to App opening up after not being used for a time, I expect it is the App refreshing its data via WiFi that causes the crash.

Another scenario for regular crashes is Google App Store updating multiple Apps. As each App is installed, it must connect via WiFi and crash it. Over time, an App installs, crashes WiFi, WiFi re-connects, the next App installs and ...

It is definitely the Beta update causing the crash as I have multiple WiFi devices connected to the router and the problem only started when I updated from 9.0.11.

that's not a bug. that extra padding is an android 10 feature. apparently Google knows better what's the most ideal position for the keyboard

The update file might be downloaded as .jar
    Rename it to .zip
