Some gallery apps can define the visible folders and is more restricted in what they show by default. If it can't the apps need to store stuff somewhere else than in a standard picture folder. I assume it stores the pictures in Pictures folder and therefore show it as a own app collection. After enabling the hide pictures option it would need to move the folder to a local app folder somewhere else.

And you have collections that show only camera pictures or only screenshots... It's good enough for me unless you need to make sure the app pics is remains private.

Already here. Staged rollout as always. Limited for approx 2 weeks before global rollout or replaced by a new update.

If you do not want to wait. Go to this Telegram channel or download full update via other methods and do a local upgrade.

It's a major version upgrade. Sometimes it's best to factory reset and do a fresh install afterwards. You can still use Oneplus Change to do backup of media files, sms/mms, apps and more. Only thing that might be good is to let the system setting be and set them up manually afterwards. Store the backup on USB drive or something and then copy it back to the phone.
Also during setup it may also be best to start as a new device and don't use any restore function from "previous" phone.

Some have issues. Don't be surprised if you get some too. Some of them is due to 10 itself and is a problem in the base OS and not only with Oxygen OS.
Still report as much as possible.

Please use the feedback tool to report this issue. It exist within the community app.

If they need more info they will contact you via PM.

After some time (usually after global rollout) it will be released at Oneplus homepage at Support, Software upgrades. If you still haven't got it via the normal OTA by then download if from there.
An example of how to manually install downloaded files.

Update/Downgrade your phone with starting from the community app. Step by step video. Some awesome entertainment during the download included.

If you crosscheck various sources and find the same update file everywhere... Then I'd say it's pretty certain it's the correct file. Also that Telegram channel I linked to also has a discussion channel. If they post an incorrect link they be sure to know it pretty fast. So I doubt they share incorrect files. Still... OTA is safest if you still feel unsure and you want to avoid the issues that comes with early adoption of an new OS. They do staged rollout of a reason and that reason is to be able to stop the rollout if major issues is found. So chances are you may not get 10.0.0 at all but will need to wait for 10.0.1 for example.

I would prefer a checkbox that let's you choose if you want to be upgraded before global rollout. That would mean that only those who want it will get it other than it being random as it is now.

Hello. as it will no longer have open beta for the 5T does it mean we must go to official version of the OS from now?
I understand it will no longer have update of the beta version (open beta 33), can you confirm?

its an incremental or staged roll out. by this few days you are supposed to be able to install A10. however oxygen installer may offer you to stop waiting of A10.
