    Thats stupid to do that! It's not a official OnePlus app!! I have a McLaren edition and I tried the app because I was curious and the app wanted to give me the update. I deleted the app because its not the official update for my McLaren edition.

    That app does nothing more than to download a file. It does not matter if you download the update from a link or via the app. Still the same local upgrade process

    Probably just some bugs in the 10 firmware. As long as it says that you installed the right firmware it's all good. Sometimes an factory reset fixes some issues. If you try that set the device up as new during setup and let a Oneplus Switch backup reinstall all apps for you later (or do it completely manually if you prefer that). You might want to skip backing up all system settings though.
    Sometimes it's simply too much problems in the first release. 10.0.0 for the 7 series was canceled for example.

    never use the unofficial app of OnePlus updater, you got the wrong Android 10 for your phone!
