Yes, my location and Bluetooth are active a fair amount of time. I need them for my fitness band. As for data, I use mainly Wi-Fi at home and in the office.

Great tips! I especially rely on the adaptive brightness and dark modes. And, bonus, the dark mode is a better aesthetic from my POV

I get over 9 hours screen time on a full charge with close to 30 hours between charging. I use Dark mode, 60hz refresh rate (honestly can't see the difference!) and disabled adaptive lighting because it was getting on my nerves. I also close each app after using it. it is not much hassle to reopen it when I need it. I also turn off location, mobile data and Bluetooth. The battery took a few full charges and discharges to reach its full potential but the results are influenced by different factors. Eg a day with two long video calls via Viber did not use as much battery as a busy day in FB. Days with Netflix seem to run longer, too. Heat waves, when the temperature inside the home reaches 27oC, exhaust the battery quicker.

Hi. How long have you owned the handset? I found that the battery needed time to be conditioned to reach its best. It took about a week. If this is not the case, then you need to return your handset and get it replaced with a new one as you may have gotten a dodgy battery. I had this happen on iPhones and had the phone swapped with a brand new unit 4 times! So it is not that unlikely as you might think. Also, and this may sound silly, have you done all the upgrades?

Any phone you buy - ANY - will require you to switch functions off to achieve best battery life. We are interested in having a working phone with the longest life between charges and the One + 7 Pro will carry you further than other phones without the need to put it into battery saver mode. I can only imagine if I were to switch battery saving mode on that I would easily go 3 days without charging. But that would mean not getting my emails as soon as they arrive or not getting calendar notifications synched instantly etc. The way we use the phone is the best compromise but if you wish to use the full features, then by all means do so. Just don't shoot down another user for sharing his ideas. It is rude and destroys the community spirit. Thank you.

I stop reading the rest of the article because this guy started out with a bold face lie. The OP7 Pro doesn't have "amazing battery life", I get about 5-6hrs of screen on time which is a little less than my note 8.... which is ok to decent battery life, but nothing Amazing.

I get 9 hours on screen time and around 30 hours incl standby on one full charge. Just because you don't get as much, does not mean he is lying. you should have read his thread. it is very helpful.

You can't compare battery life between users. Users use different apps and have different functions on/off. I'm a power user and you clearly is not. The only way to accurately evaluate battery life is with the same user using different phone. I compared the Op7 Pro to other phones that I've used. And I can say without r a doubt that it doesn't measure up to other phones that ive used. Oh and looking at countless battery drain test around youtube, I think other people would agree.

I don't trust YouTube reviewers. They go where they get the best treat bag. But by all means do tell us which phone beats the battery life of the One +7 Pro apart from the One + 6T. And explain why you are still in this forum if you have found the perfect phone for you and it is not this one. Forgive me if I suspect that you have ulterior motives but you haven't yet proven anything.

Oneplus 7, Pixel 3a XL, Zenfone 6. This is not even counting the battery champion of all phones, the Huawei P30 Pro. So yeah, the op7 pro have average battery, not as good as Op7 and suddenly not "amazing". Stop being a fanboy and face reality. Btw im an op7 pro owner and still love using it. Im just not delusional.

Talk to me when all phones have the same display settings, including wallpaper. I refuse to compare apples with oranges.
