So... if I hold the speaker to my ear and press either of the 3 softkeys, I can hear the speaker turn on for about 3 seconds. Can anyone else try it? Make sure you're in a quiet room.

Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs, that's a big problem

I can second that. Absolutely love this beta release. Feels faster than the stable OTA. Only downsides I've noticed is the missing PiP, which is a known bug (with a fix) and tat my Jabra Evolve 65 headset has started losing the BT connection periodically.

    Hi all!
I've installed the open beta 1 and noticed that sometimes the notifications became trasparent with apparent no reason. I noticed that this happen when i have more than only One notification to read.
    Is It a bug?

    Thanks for your opinions
    Marco

Updated with OTA app via TWRP and flashed Magsik 15.2 and all is well. No issues as with previous build so far [e]1f44d[/e]

No it's not. Every manufacturer is like that. If you install an open beta of iOS or Samsung's firmware for example, you'll get updates from the beta channel. Not the stable. That's what a beta is. It's not for a daily driver, it's for you to test and give feedback. If you want to be in the stable channel, don't install the beta or flash a stable build again when you're done testing.

It's not rocket science. What is it with this place, my goodness.

Not entirely true, that. iOS has since a couple of years ago had the ability to upgrade from beta releases to public releases without erasing user data and media. And even if it did, iCloud makes such comprehensive backups of even app data that it would just be a matter of transferring your music again from your computer.

It's honestly kind of sad that Android doesn't seem to have this functionality, or maybe it's just OnePlus that needlessly muck up their beta-to-stable path.

Entirely true. If you were on iOS 11 beta and an incremental stable update to iOS 10 came out, you don't get it without downgrading. You did however get the iOS 11 final OTA. As you can with Oreo. Yes, iCloud helps. And no, you don't even need to transfer your music again in iOS. Thankfully Android has similar functionality with backups and cloud storage as well as 3rd party apps that can do it also.
