The minimum brightness issue hasn’t been fixed in OxygenOS Android 11 Open Beta 1. OnePlus developers could you please lower the minimum brightness from 8 nits to below 2 nits in the next update? Thanks

    Really a shame imho:
even with a backup of all data, just to reinstall all apps and reconfigure the ones that don't save the configuration in the cloud it takes time...
In case something goes wrong it can be, but so either you stay in beta for life or you have to.

Yes, of course. Read the opinions from various users already using beta 1 in this thread before making up your mind for upgrade.

I recommend you to read and learn the differences between the different types of OxygenOS. You can find it here: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-beta-program-explained.469761/ and here: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...beta-program-past-present-and-future.1229405/

Recommending a beta software as a daily driver is not the purpose of a beta test.

First of all thankful to oneplus that they have started rolling out this update.
Now that I have downloaded it, I'm having a great experience.
OnePlus should add following things in this update

    1) OnePlus dialer

    2) OnePlus messages

    3) front camera still needs white balancing or may exposure settings properly

    4) Bluetooth gets turn on few times on its own just check that

    5) story in gallery should have editing option as well as local music selection option like most of the phones have now. Same for video editing tools.

I guess for now these should be my requirement

Are you sure about that as OP suggested similar about the OP3 beta but I, along with many other users, moved back from the beta build to stable without losing any data/having any issues.

Although who actually stores all their important data just on a mobile phone as what happenings if it ever resets itself, which my OP3 did once, or his lost or stolen etc?

    I am sure...
Beta and official Version are two different branches.. they maybe share some same files... so you want a smooth and clear stable version when you go back. So please do a factory reset.
