If you are on the beta version, download the zip file from the downloads section and flash it.
If you are on the official one, repeat the same steps but download the official zip. Also, please post in the correct thread.:)

But how much "later" as a test beta for the OP5 or sometime after the OP5 has been released, although I'm not sure what benefits 7.1.2 brings over 7.1.1 since no other non Nexus/Pixel phones seem to use it at present.

I think their major priority should be now to patch the major security flaws that have been discovered and now made public. What makes it even worse is that they knew about it since January and haven't done anything about it so far...

That's not really a question I'm equipped to answer lol. I don't know exactly what improvements 7.1.2 brings

also no other non Nexus/Pixel & OnePlues 3 has 7.1.1 ...i don't know of any other oem that has it....
you could be right if O release was close, they could've skipped 7.1.2 and jumped to O, but it's long time to that, so (speculation) the logical move would be to update to 7.1.2 and keep developing on 3/3T...and it'll be probably the last Official update we get if it's treated like OP2 ...
that said 7.1.2 can be flashed via custom roms, and the 2 i tried offer OOS quality level (if not better in some cases) Vertix is very minimal and more stable that OOS but as i said very minimal with very little customization natively..., and Phoenix AEX which is like Vertix but with Customization and a Near stock Camera that's capable of both normal and raw shooting (internal switch between Hals) and it's the only rom so far with such switch and camera...both have EAX Kernel (which is exclusively available only on Pixel devices) and now only available on OP3/3T ...also more roms offer more great features on 7.1.2 , so i'm not in a hurry, and i know we're getting O one way or the other .
