This is the latest update for the Beta OS.
    Not the official one.

Is your device rooted? In my case, I get a popup saying my device is rooted, so it will download the full update instead of the incremental OTA.

That quite normal on a rooted device as OnePlus ensures that you will have a successful flash of full zip with the rooted device .

let's all stop ranting about the op2 because it is pointless and will not get you your updates. .. you can always flash custom anyway.

does open beta have severe battery issues like the stable builds (4.1.3 onwards facing severe battery drains and low earpiece volume) if this one is better then I am thinking to switch to open beta chain

To flash this beta, coming from stable build 4.1.6, do i need to have unlocked bootloader?

I have read the flashing instructions, and I'm very familiar with adb commands, but I don'w know if I can do adb sideload of the beta without unlocking the bootloader

    hey guys.

so I flashed the beta internally via the local upgrade option.

it worked great. but if I ever wanted to migrate back to the stable version, would I flash it the same way? how does one wipe out all the cache etc too whilst doing it?
