I've seen a recommendation on this thread to switch to the Google phone and contacts. But, the play store says my phone (OP3 w/beta 18) is not compatible with these apps. Any suggestions on how to install them?

can someone explain to me why my OTA is 1.4GB? I'm running beta, always get OTA updates but this is huge compared to the 74mb update everyone else is getting.......

oh well great. after installing the file via TWRP........the phone does not boot up. which is a problem I've had during every OTA. I always have to factory reset to boot up after a OTA. seems like it's just installing a full file over another full file without clearing the cache for the old one or something. it's very weird but now, for the 4th time in the past IDK, 5 weeks maybe, I'm factory resetting again to boot after an update.

Oh you have TWRP no wonder you're getting the full file. I recommend flashing the zip instead of trying to do it from the settings

that's exactly what I do but it seems to screw itself up after every flash. always need to boot back into TWRP and reset because it hangs on the boot screen.

hmm. do you think doing a full reset and reflashing the original recovery would fix my file size issue and no boot issue?

I got this as a replacement from a buddy and it was bootloader Unlocked and had TWRP already....
