You should rather ask yourself .
Whether I need to or not with my usage pattern .
Rather than seeking it here for now.
As the opinions do wary from person to person.

With his post it's a bit obvious that he is still on MM.

You have to decide it on and for yourself.
But why are you asking in Beta section?

    Hi guys,
i flashed ob18 few days ago and i have an excessive android os battery consumption.

What do you think about it?

I disabled aggressive doze to try to see some changes but nothing happened.

I feel also an easily heating in gaming or soft multitasking.

The biggest problem I see with it is that .people are still facing trouble in spelling it properly.
    Leave it aside.
As far as your concern goes, again I wish to repeat, Do you really need it, is marshmallow working fine for you, what features you are missing for now etc.which only you can answer for yourself.

No. I own a 3T, best phone i've ever had! But i know OnePlus is a small company, and maybe they just want to make the owners of the new flagship more happier than the ones who don't make money for them. So i guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

But don't get me wrong. I would love to see our device updated until the end of its days, in 3 or 4 years...

Will we receive a some of the features the new Oxygen OS has on the OnePlus 5? Some of them can work on the OnePlus 3T perfectly fine...

Well, at least we should have the developers support. This would be a good thing for our devices.
