Did you hard reset recently? Or updated recently? It should go in a few days of usage

Settings>apps>default apps>assist and voice input. I selected none but still it automatically pops up and chooses assistant as for voice input after some time.

I have some issues with assistant too on mine and it seems like that setting does not behave properly either. Maybe we should send in reports about this via feedback tool.

We really need Android 11. Really soon. Our device is just one year old and we have to wait for like... 3 months? Come on, OnePlus. You can at least announce your schedule.

Um... They have. And OnePlus 6t users experienced the same thing with Android 10 so... Have some patience ig?

Why such a rush to get Android 11? After all, Android 10 hasn't even been properly optimized by OnePlus, so what's the idea that Android 11 is the key to happiness and bliss?

Apparently very many think that Android 11 fixes all the little "bugs" (PUBG can play for 30 hours a day and the battery consumes only 2-3%, sleep mode no longer consumes power at all but on the contrary it charges the battery even if it is not connected to the charger). It will be disappointing for many when Android 11 comes on older OnePlus phones.

I personally dont care if it takes 6-12 months to get published as long it is optimized and really good working order. I use Android 9 on my device, because its almost bug free without battery drainage problems etc.

There is this new issue I found. I am unable to turn off location. I mean ta you can turn off but it shows on in the notification bar and it also drains battery as if its on. Please helo me out with this. And there still some bugs in the network switching thing. It still turns off my device when I am using sim 1 and i get a call on my other sim. Its so painful. I got so many bad impressions already. Please OnePlus.
