looking good so far! I goid first impression.

got exited because I thought we could change the grid size completely now within the launcher.

turns out we can apparently only change the vertical grid size (as before by playing around with Dpi), but not the horizontal one, which is still holding me back from using the OnePlus launcher on a daily basis.

the general UI improvements seem nice, I like the "recent 5 items".

will post the feedback in the survey after investigating further more and checking general stability :)

Everytime I flash beta, I loose my TWRP recovery... Steps I do. Flash Is beta, Flash Recovery (this time 3.1.1-0). And when I reboot the system I get stock recovery back... Can anyone suggest the correct method??

Dear Open Beta devs, I would like to propose the implementation of the ability to turn off/turn on option low level battery LED blinking at 15%. At low battery level I have to turn off the LED notification not to blink all the time until the battery is recharged. Please add the ability to turn off the LED at low battery level.

    BTW, OP3_O2_Open_19 Full Rom :

So many wrong things in your comment...
No, the phone won't explode. But a hacker could get your credit card information and steal a lot of money.
Or, he could make your phone call paid number without you noticing anything.

2nd, you can get malwares from untrusted apk, that's true. But it's not the only way: mails with attached file (one of your contacts sends you a pic from holidays, his email was hacked and the jpg file contains a malware), apps on the Play Store (read android news a bit: each week, hundreds of app are removed),...

3rd: hackers don't target people. Their malware act the same if you are a president or unemployed.

4th: have you considered the possibility to put pressure on OP so they change their policy about security updates? Why would we need to buy another phone when we can ask and try to get security updates?

Security patches are very important (Android Police writes articles about them quite often, other brands offer them even on mid end phones, Google insisted on their importance,...) and OP believes that our security is not that important.
It's great that we had Android Nougat quickly, but without security updates, it's an incomplete support

Use magisk and hide root from System Update app, then the ota will be downloaded. Then go to recovery and manually flash the zip from .ota folder
