    launcher 2.0 isn't updated yet with stable oxygen os and now 2.1 for beta. R.I.P. oxygen os 4.1.6 ⚰️

    Nothing bad would happen with your device till you use the stock recovery. OnePlus recovery is noob proof.
    You will just need to download the latest beta zip( full ), around 1.5 GB from the OnePlus support website. Then backup all your important stuff, it's very rare but there is a risk of data loss. Then reboot to recovery and do a data and cache wipe, not internal. Then use the local upgrade option in the recovery, slect the beta zip you downloaded. Select it and continue. After that your device will reboot and you are good to go.
    (Data and cache wipe is recommended.)

    I'm using it from open beta 16, all safe. Regular updates will come without problems in the settings section. I also tried to install OTA 4.1.6 and I reinstalled open beta 18 after it. No problem.

    i have a Sony headset and a Samsung Mini level box, they both support it.
    it depends on the detail level of the supplied spec sheet whether it's even public if they use the right protocol. good luck
