    Yes i agree ..
But should not be mentioned in the OP that returnig back to stable requires the use of msm tool ( and that means that phone will be totally wiped)..??

That's up to Manu J. He does state that...
    • Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).
That is why, when I was lucky enough to grab post #2, I used it for the OnePlus MSMDownloadTool links.

I think you need to learn how to register it better is all. mine works almost instantly when I touch it. I have the McLaren Edition. this one does seem to be slightly faster than the matte black 6T I had before this. and I only use SuperShieldz tempered glass on all my phones

mine works just as fast as the 6 and the 5T. I had to learn how to register my fingerprint better. and the phone also improves its accuracy over time. it will speed up with use. I barely have to touch my finger to the screen and it is unlocked. I'm very impressed

please fix the navbar. light color navbars on dark themed apps is brutal to the eyes at night. This isn't an issue on most other Android phones. My pixel 2 has no issue with this.

Rule #1... Do not ask for ETA's on Beta firmware releases.

OnePlus will release, on average, a Beta firmware roughly twice a month. This does not mean that they will be 2 weeks apart. They could be within days of one another or 4+ weeks apart. It all depends on what OnePlus would like to test or fix.

read Post #687, feels like a record repeating itself

    Hmm...

mine does not want recognize my left thumb, only 3 of 10 times I can unlock it with left thumb, with right thumb works better - 7 of 10 times, but I need to push on the screen, not just barely touch otherwise it does not work for me. I registered this finger many time and followed the instructions to get better match, but the result is the same.

I also reported it to OnePlus - no answer so far...

Tested after to register fingerprint on my OP5T - no issue at all.

This thread is for the purpose of testing, evaluation and reporting on the Open Beta 2 test firmware.

If for any reason, you wish to leave Beta testing and move back to the stock, stable, OnePlus firmware you will, as per post #2, need to use the OnePlus 6T MsmDownloadTool v4.0 mentioned in that link. If you have any questions or require further assistance in doing so, then you should request it on that thread which is specifically for that purpose and not go, "Off Topic", on here. Thanks.

    To get OTA update 9.0.11,
    1.Connect to WiFi.
2.Install Tunnel Bear VPN and in the app select country as Germany.
    3.Check for OTA update.
It worked for me. Hope it works for you.
