To all here the Android 9 flashing want one should always clean flashing
So you bypass errors especially since there is also a version jump there you should flash clean from home

Guys I want to report a stability issue using this one. Sometimes phone just goes down for no apparent reason, with light blue LED and nothing more. I have to reboot the phone afterwards to make it work.

    Hey Rambo,

Could you please tell me how you do your clean flash ? With PC or by local upgrading and erase everything ?

    Thanks.

Hi @EryOP am gone from the last open beta 19 to 20 have my mobile phone on factory condition
and I did a local upgrade and everything works without any problems. The only things I haven't tested are games because I'm not the big gambler.
Oh yes I have changed before the TWRP against the original recovery and afterwards again TWRP and Magisk after the setup on it

After flash go in settings in OOS and use factory reset. This will clear data partition. Youll lose application settings but keeps your own userdata(pics, etc..)
It's also possible to do that from the recovery.

I did a clean flash and everything works pretty good. The only bug i found was the face unlock thing, but it happens 1-2 in a day. The animations could use more work (sometimes i can see fps drop) and also the battery is draining a bit faster in this build.

I think OnePlus is aware of the issue by know because of multiple bug reports...
Gonna add mine as well if I don't see many there ;)

Can anyone confirm that the microphone in this build is not functioning only in 3th party apps like messenger and PUBG?
I tested it and it seems to work on the default phone app but doesn't work on messenger

    That's a great issue.
But have you read the first page of the thread itself?
It clearly says being a new update users will face battery issues, but they will optimise depending on the user's usage overtime.
Also please remember, this is "Beta Phase"
If you're really not loving the battery backup, seek for the former update or buy a new device.
