As usual, thank you for the update,
@Manu J.
I do hope this post can help people chill a little bit and understand that the community is also talking about updates and new features, obviously, but it’s not only that.
I’m sure OnePlus did not delayed this update on purpose and I’m pretty sure they wanted to publish it as soon as they could, as long as it was stable enough.
I truly hope that the members who opened thread after thread about this, can now at least recognize the hard work Manu and his team put into each update, especially when the device changes the OS version.
To all the moderators, my biggest thank you for dealing with all this so far. I hope you can now have a little bit of rest and that the threads you are about to close or merge are about something else.
And please at least wait a couple of days to start reporting battery drains and things that cannot be measured after a few minutes or hours. And I do hope that when it’s time to update the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T we can all face those days with a little bit less toxicity than we had here for the last couple of weeks.
To OnePlus, next time maybe go easy with the word “Soon” and if something unexpected happens, make you sure you communicate and be completely on top of how the forums are reacting.
And now, it’s Pie o’clock, let’s enjoy it and let’s enjoy the rest of the week with it, not because of it.
