I am experiencing some battery power issues. Seems that after the update the batteries drain faster than before with the same usage pattern, maybe I'm experiencing 15%-20% shorter life. Also the brightness control is not as responsive as it was before and somehow the brightness stays higher than it used to. I wonder what's going on. Also can someone guide me to manage cache as it was super easy before but now I can't seems to find clear cache option in the storage settings.

You have to clear app cache individually, and/or clear in recovery.
Brightness will learn your preferences if you set it where you want it a few days, or just use manual.
Battery drain hasn't changed for me, could be your brightness. You may need to clear cache and data of a few apps to find the culprit.

I dirty flashed and had 1 or 2 issues (but mostly good), so I clean flashed. No issues now.

You can do a dirty, but, you will sort some details, but, in the end, you'll have a very smooth and functional ROM
