if you like to live in past, good for you.
just to inform that Oxygen OS 10 will have quick tiles customizations but they are not something from 2yrs ago Android.
you don't like it? stay on older OS, problem solved.
or grab a custom rom which has best of both worlds.

I'm using this beta since release date and never had this problem.

Maybe it's because there isn't any Android Q for OP6T (except developer preview).
What are you trying to do and how?

Are you installing Q DP3 or beta 25?
Both have an older build date than OOS 9.0.9. To be able to install the update, you first need to downgrade to an older build of OOS. ThisWILL WIPE your phone.

So idk if this has been asked, but I'm running the last beta pushed over a month ago for the OnePlus 6T for Android 9 and not the dev preview for 10 and get random pink flashes sometimes when turning the screen on and it doesn't matter if an app was running when the screen went off or not and it's infrequent. DC dimming is on in Labs. Is that causing it or what?

You're asking if DC Dimming is causing it.
Have you turned it off? If so, does it still do it then?

I've not experienced anything like this, ever, and I've never used DC Dimming.

A new Android version isn't gonna fix that. You need to figure out what's causing it yourself.
