So as software "developer" & "consultant" you tend to use beta releases without backing up your data? I hope that's not what you suggest to your customers...

backup, backup, backup! is the lil' dev/consultant 101, also reading the OP would help - disclaimers regarding instabilities are right there - only thing more annoying than a failed build is a user blaming the OEM for their own faults! Dang, that's embarrassing, especially since you should have known better and if you are really a professional you will agree!

These are my backups on my PC. If you're a "novice", you probably shouldn't be messing with beta. But it's not that hard to learn just enough to get in trouble. XDA can get you out of almost any issues. If don't know how to install custom recovery, you should probably just factory reset and just use ota.

marshmallow in op5? didn't it came with Nougat? and I'm talking about the common known lag issues that came with pie since first build for op5/5t

No lag on pie or Oreo. Pie is actually smoother.

I'm using Pie since first day and never experienced this.
So it must come from some of your apps or an interaction with them.

If you start from factory reset without restoring apps, you will get a comparable software configuration as mine so you will have no lags. (Note that I have loads of apps)

We can't really help remotely until someone tries a few basic stuffs.
