sry, it was turn on and I tired it wrongly. what I actually meant was

    2. if I connect my phone to charger when it's switched off, the phone doesn't respond to any button press (to turn phone on, or to get into recovery mode) and doesn't even turn on. it starts to heat up. the phone turns on after the phone cools down.

I used Pitch Black Theme and it eliminates the space in the notification/quick settings. What theme did you use?

I know that but there is no indication if the accent colours will be revamped or not.

Yes, from other apps. For example, I'm recording a video and receive a notification - it will vibrate and play the notification sound, and as we all know it's very noisy vibration module, it's even worse when playing back the video with audio

Will APT-X ever return, or has that option gone for good?

For now it seems for me the battery consumption over night (about 10% in 6 hours) is more then in the previous beta.
The almost flat line is gone, so it looks like the doze-mode is not activated anymore.
I have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched off and am using only 4G. Mobile standby is still on top of the list with 7%, next is 'telephone inactive' with 3%, others on the list are only system resources (voice, android twice, screen).
Further no issues at the moment, build seems stable for me.

After 100% download, it's showing 'Signature Verification failed'!
    Any solution to this?

OP is leaving the good path in my opinion.
I dumped OOS a few days ago on my OP3, installed Paranoid and not looking back.
Battery life is great, no weird OPLocationService or other services, use of GPS is MUCH reduced even if I have the same apps installed. I think that OOS abuses GPS for the night light feature (just my guess), but guess what, Paranoid has this feature as well and consumes a fraction (for example yesterday I got 4.5 hrs SOT over 24 hrs, always on 4g, sync on, high accuracy + 1 hr phone call and 20mins whatsapp audio call...)
