    Locking the phone and putting it away for 30 seconds tops solves the issue...

    Agreed, but why does it happen in the first place? It should be ironed out by now. Moreover its even present in the stable build

    Atleast it's easily solvable if it shows up...

    Set animations to off in dev options, problem fixed. Phones quicker, battery is better. Win-win.

    Some people like to enjoy the smooth animations or just have them but set it at 0.5x speed...
    For me it feels weird to not have animations...

    Enabling the "Disable HW overlays" option in developer options fixed the animation stutter for me, though you have to enable it back everytime you're restarting the device.

    I also have the same problem, always frame drops in transitions or scrolling, not always but every now and then, with Oreo it wasn't like that and updating to Android pie that happened, now I try with developer options and see how it behaves daily [e]1f44d[/e]

    nice one. one plus. the battery is pretty good. never use flight mode, so yeah not a big thing for me, but the animation is cool though.

    Ok guys here goes my full review on this new OnePlus 5t update;

    * The Update is fine, not very good but not very bad also. Found some bugs like little shuttering when going on home screen from apps and when toggling notification bar on Gesture mode and coming up with a white screen message of Cancel and Save, restart is the only solution to this method and it all fine to go.

    * For the features I will come to each one of them one by one.

    1) March security amazing no problem in it.

    2) Flight mode animation is working fine, I don't use it so no use for me but at many times I have opened and close it so it's working fine.

    3) Optimizing notification for quick settings is fine didn't see any changes but yes when connected to VPN it showed now before it didn't so other quick setting notification is little done with optimization.

    4) Optimizing Battery consumption I should say they have optimize it a little just not that good what I expected this change brought me for going on Beta but it is not like a very good significant change it's just a little but yes comparing it with the previous beta it is better, I will list my previous Open beta 25 and Open beta 26 battery comparison below so you guys could have clear idea about it.

    5) Group messaging is fine, I don't use that much group message so tried it 3 to 4 times in one day and all were good, in between I found this bug in messaging that when I tried to write a message it brought me through the screen of the above mention bug but with that it also came on the screen of wait, force stop and close, I don't know why but I closed it from the background and restarted it 2 times and then it was working fine for me.

    So Overall the update is fine, and yes still weather app of OnePlus is not up to the mark taking much time in just loading the weather in Celsius that is also shown below, I should say OnePlus to focus on improvements like Reducing Oil Paint Effect, Making Battery backup more good, introducing smart boost and Night mode and Digital Wellbeing and improving of Gesture Navigation.

    2) Open beta 26 (Heavy use)

    So this is the whole Summary, I Changed my antivirus in the New Update as Clean Master was not going well for me in clearing caches, now installed AVAST and it is now working fine, so here it is, if you guys have any questions regarding the above summary feel free to post a message and reply me, thanks and Peace out.
