Move to local storage. Make sure it's a zip file. Rename if not. Do local update. Only works if the beta version is newer than already installed software

Yep, Beta to Pie, Pie to 10 stable
And this will clear all data, so remember backups.

@Swejuggalo has good post about backups and use of those when installing Android 10 programs.
Shortly about post; backup only pictures, text msgs, contacts etc. Programs would be good to install from Google Play so no conflicts with older "settings".
It is pain to install all of them but will reward after.

In order to go from Beta-3 to 10.0.1, you have to revert back to android pie first.

You can do that by either
    1. Downloading a downgrade (fullwipe) package. For the international variant, links are in my signature. You then to a local upgrade, your phone will go back to 9.5.3 (or 9.5.1, can't remember), and from there you can upgrade to 10.0.1 stable.
    2. Use the MSM tool which will also wipe your phone back to 9.5.?, and then you upgrade to 10.0.1

To upgrade to 10.0.1, you should be offered it via automatic update or you can download the full image.

Yes, you will lose your data when you go back to android pie.

Yes, but you immediately upgrade right back to android 10.

My recommendation. Go back to pie, don't setup the phone (only setup WIFI but no fingerprint or anything), upgrade to android 10.0.1, perform a factory reset after the upgrade, then setup your phone fully only once upgraded to 10.0.1

Even Though he is a Newbie he is Correct, they are leaving beta Open to Fin mistakes and try Options and features OnePlus wants to implement in Later Updates in the stable Builds, So its basically From now on a Newer feature tester for newer features and to report current bugs.

Wow the fingerprint sensor in Android Pie vs Android 10 (Beta 3 or 10.0.1) is night and day.
    let me explain.
I've been on Android 10 since DP4 and haven't went back to Pie. I always thought the fingerprint sensor slow down every one spoke about was just a placebo effect nothing really worth noting but I was on the latest beta 3 and wanted to clean flash 10.0.1 and just stay with stable from here forward. So I clean flash Android Pie and completed the setup including fingerprint and wow! it's so fast compared to Android 10, on Android 9 it's like a milli second to read and unlock. on Android 10 it takes like a full second (Not exaggerating).

I believe they changed the animation to be smoother and at the same time, it causes the unlocking to be slower.

It's hard to compare but it feels like the animation is 90hz and smooth on 10, on pie it's faster but to the point.

In any case, I also feel like it was better on 9.

I also miss the fnatic orange animation from pie. I'm sure game mode does similar (maybe more) but I loved watching that animation. Made switching to game mode cooler.

I'm switching back to 9 as I type this, ran into enough problems with 10 for now.

I will either be going back to 10.0.1 or Beta 3. Haven't decided yet.
Beta 3 ran very well for me, just thought I would note the finger print sensor difference
