Are you rooted perchance, or do you mess with system partition, substratum user? There are many reasons this could be happening

    What makes you think that?

quick question: have you wiped the system cache after switching to beta?
if yes, after downloading the update, did the phone installed it or not? if not probably there was a bug in the zip, so the firmware propose you to download the full zip, that won't give you problems

You can and they will help you ,clean flash the stable version, as beta testers are expected to fend for themselves.

No not necessary, I think you have to do a couple of things, just to be sure.

    • First is to delete what's inside the the hidden file ".OneplusH2Ota". That is, file manager, storage, 3dot menu, settings, show hidden files, go to the file I mentioned and wipe what's in there.
    • Second is to wipe cache of the system updates app. That is, settings, apps, show apps list, 3dot menu, show system apps, goto system updates and clear cache of that app.
After that, wipe cache in recovery, start and search for updates should work and keep working. Probably somewhere, there are some leftovers from a previous install, which should be deleted by the steps you took

Edit: forgot to mention to wipe what's in the file ".Ota" also in my first point.

I already told you I am zero about all this. So far I am downloading all update twice as its demand. So I will continue as it is. Thank you.

You might wanna use the reply button if you're answering to a post, so he'll know you did reply.

But if you're replying to my previous post, you are free in whatever you want to do. The steps I described are just to get rid of leftovers of a previous install that went wrong. These steps should avoid the same thing happening next time.

Also the description is quite detailed and shouldn't form any problem
