ufff thank god, thanks man
Hey @Manu J. And team just wanted to share this -
I have been on the Open Beta stream ever since I got the OnePlus 5, it has been one of the best phones I have used till date (Period) even after owning the OnePlus 6 and the 6T I still find myself returning to the OnePlus 5!
The slim profile, perfectly balanced weight and amazing battery life has changed the way I use a smartphone. It is sad that this is the end of OB for the OP5, but truly it was a wonderful experience. No matter how buggy the phone used to get, OB was my companion throught my time with the phone.
I know this may sound funny to everyone reading this but this is kinda nostalgic! Like all good things this must end too.
I shall eagerly wait for the Android Q ( whatever it will be called) I feel that OB is for the update horny guys out there, who could not make it to the CBT, nevertheless OB was always usable. Thanks a lot for continuous updates and security patches. Completely happy with the phone and the software experience.
Keep up the good work!

Zen mode wow
I know. I was answering the question. Since last beta recording is rolled out.
There Are A Lot Of Feature Which Are Needed And Are Possible For The Oneplus 5T/5
1. Improve The Camera Experience
2. Bring Night Scape Mode
3. Improve The Minor Bugs
4. Add Screen Recorder
5. Add Zen Mode ( On Its Way But Should Be Without Bugs)
6. The Support For Faster Security Updates
Night scape mode is not available for 5/5t because of camera setup
And point 3 and 4 and 5 is already here
This is Sad. Probably about total of 8 - 10 total updates on 5/5T?
But it has been good ride.
Switched to beta channel (Open Beta 32 OP5T) today to receive latest features. Was happy that got a new update today itself. Came here only to find out that it's the last Open Beta
unfortunately this is the last open beta for us
T versions folow there normal versions
Update cycle examples:
OnePlus 3 = OnePlus 3T
OnePlus 5 = OnePlus 5T
OnePlus 6 = OnePlus 6T
This is how they are treated on how long will they sustain updates
There was a thread about this but I don't remember the thread title...
Edit: Found it: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oneplus-software-maintenance-schedule.862347/
Never Settle!!! XD
Sorry OP, but now I switched to LineageOS
The camera application is not working with this beta
That means no more security patches? Thats not right at all.
I'm here since the OnePlus One... So I'm talking like a "fan" myself. I love the phone, I love the rom, i won't mind waiting for Q, Is normal it's an "old" phone, but I can't stand that the phone has this camera quality, that still hasn't tuner for bullet wireless (launched with this phone) Wich I love too. The attention to thoose details it's important. I will use my 5t, it's still fast and responsive, but I will not buy another OP phone after this.
thanks oneplus 5
Open Beta is over that doesn't mean no more security patches...
should I switch back to stable then or can I just stay and wait until Android Q
You will need to switch anyways once they launch a community beta (my guess)
You can stay if you want
You can switch if you want
But most likely you will need to switch anyways sometime in the future...
