That's OK, I know it can be frustrating. Have you tried clearing cache in Recovery? Have you MyJio or TrueCaller installed, and if so, have you updated them recently (both have been causing problems in Oreo)? If you have done all that and are still facing issues, a factory reset might help, but make sure you backup all data first.

Yes try and see if problem fixed. If so try reinstalling the app as they claim to have fixed the bugs. If it reverts to buggy behaviour you'd be better without TrueCaller until they come up with a proper solution.

Happy To See Oneplus Taking Enough Time to Rectify the Bugs & Not Releasing The Stable Version Too Quickly With Full of Bugs.

Please Do take Enough Time to rectify the bugs.In the Past few Months i Can See xiaomi,Oneplus Etc All Just Releasing the Android Oreo With full of Bugs & Then After Few Days Cancelling it Out. SO why don't you take enough time before releasing & Cancelling the Update. You Can release the oreo First But At the Same Time it has to be Without Major bugs.I like the policy of Samsung,They Still not release the Oreo Even to S8+, it's Still in Beta. They Want it to be Free from bugs for global release.

Does anyone else's google search keep crashing? The issue is not intermittent but continuous on my OnePlus 5.

Did you clear the app cache.
This is always my first step if an app isn't working properly.
Settings\Apps\Aplication List\Google\Storage. Then clear cache. If that doesn't help go into the manage space clearing all data.
Next step is clear system cache then a wipe but normally clearing the app cache and app data does the trick.
    Good luck

And so what? What have you done? Have you searched the forum, the internet? Have you start investigating? Most probably nothing to do with Oreo update.
Have you wiped system cache? Have you wiped each application cache? Have you wiped all applications cache?

    K. I didn't want to create a new thread for this and annoy the forums members. Is there a mega thread regarding this?

Not really, the official 5.0.1 release thread is the closest thing, but asking there will probably get you the same reaction. ETAs aren't really announced in the software development world.
