Sigh, maybe you could try other brand like xiaomi??

still kinda off topic here. just end it here...

But still, I think what's best for me is the nearly stock performance. I think there is fewer brand that can achieve that goal... at least oneplus did add some useful settings compared with other brands. however, the update is kinda slow for the 6 series...

I don't like samsung ui because they add useless and fancy animation that affect the performance.

Yep, but it depends on what you need... at least 6t is kinda enough for me since the fruitful resource of gcam...
it is not much major bugs for me as long as you optimized those irregular apps and it would be just fine.

just to be curious if android 10 affect the 3rd party dash charger.. the recognition of dash charge is slower than android 9...

1- Disabled sync and Backup from phone
2- Open contacts.google.com and merged duplicates
3- Install google contacts app and resync.

just optimized irregular apps on the battery

i think the reason is the intelligent control on android 10
you know it is not quite "intelligent" at all

It seems that I'll be stuck on this semi dead Oneplus 6/6T forums for a while since I am planning to buy a switch and possibly a PS5 this year... So my plans of upgrading my phone have moved to 2021... hopefully this year won't be too dead for OP6/6T users...

Situations are critical back there in China. Still they are trying there best to provide you with the updates. Isn't it commendable.

The Indian team makes most of the updates, if not all. They have no excuse for this delay. Besides, how did they release updates for 4 of the 7 series phones?

It's all because OnePlus has become complacent & taking users for granted.
