This software is for testing purposes only, if it can be done, I am sure it may be done in a future update. For now it is what it is, the same as many other manufacturers phones, as this is the way Google designed it within Android 10.

it's kinda odd since we had it, then we lost it completely and now we have it again.....but worse.

Yes. It passes 4/5 times and then it fails again.

Same here. Something is wrong with this build.

It was a feature introduced to 9 Pie, A 10 is a whole new OS on the backend, with a whole different subset of features. Therefore it has a slightly different layout as per design by Google. So OEMs have to work with what Google gives them.

Generally they will work on bugs and such to get a smooth system, then they will introduce features as time goes on.

Many OEMs, OnePlus being one, have had to use more resources on 10 due to the nature of it being a brand new OS, with all this new Google features.

    but not in app drawer
    1579084511284.jpg
I search the app then it shows in app drawer but the text is not visible in search box when I typed
    1579084766819.jpg

    1579084774405.jpg
now I uninstalled the app but icon was not removed from app drawer
    1579084732139.jpg
now I again search the app in search bar then the icon removed
    1579084720161.jpg
I give it 2-3 min to update itself but no icon was still there after uninstalled until I search it then it removed earlier it was not the case till open beta 3 OnePlus 6t

Just an observation really... in previous builds I used to be able to long press on the Battery Saver icon in the Notification panel and it would take me to the general Battery overview but now it goes directly to Battery Saver.

location access 'allowed only while in use', the same feature I have used in the IOS earlier; but it was noted there that the location is automatically ON when we open the respective app and also it automatically OFF after quiting the app. suggest the same in A10 and hope it can save the battery a bit.

    OPEN BETA 4 UPDATE INSTALLATION

Open Beta test firmware may not always be as stable or as fully functioning as the stock official OxygenOS and installing it is entirely at your own RISK!

Once on the Open Beta channel, you will no longer receive the stock official OxygenOS OTA updates unless you revert your phone back to stock firmware, which may involve wiping your phone.

Open Beta is for experienced and competent users to assess and offer constructive feedback and submit detailed bug reports to OnePlus. Therefore, this is not a spoon feeding section of the forums.

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to install this Open Beta 4 update successfully unless you are already on the Open Beta channel and have previously installed Open Beta 2, "at some stage". If you are new to Open Beta firmware, you will first need to download and install Open Beta 2 via Local Upgrade before you can install the Open Beta 4 OTA update by downloading and installing Open Beta 4 from the official OnePlus Downloads & Updates store and follow the instructions on how to install it via Local Upgrade.

Do not use Oxygen Updater from the Play Store or attempt to install Open Beta 4 without having first installed Open Beta 2 on your phone previously at some stage.
