Are they gonna fix it in next update?

Have you tested in the real life ? (I mean, to actually use GPay in a store near your home)

    Then MUST fix it
Not sure which update next and what time
If they cannot fix this within one month (Cuz I am trying to be lenient this time)
I'll go for Samsung this year

After around one day with OB4 I don't found any bugs, Netflix working, weather app works, GPay works (I pay few moments ago), system works better and smoother than OB3. I see new animation when wake up phone by button. Battery life is little bit better. Everything working better than OB3. So, maybe you need back to OB3, then update by OTA. Beta is not for everyone so always you can back to stock.

This update has broken Google Play. Unable to install any new apps. Just FYI that I upgraded directly to OB4 from OB2 since we did not receive any OB3 update in India

I cannot roll back, this must be a very very last option
I don't have the place to handle all my 50GBof photos
OnePlus has to sort things out

Thanks for reply. Working in software and sysadm for many decades I understand beta programs. Merely pointing out bad compliance from OP by delivering an ota that will break things. How hard is if <= OB1 (don't OTA)?

Anyway, now OB4 OTA is showing on my 6T which is on OB17 Pie. Lots of extra work for CS fielding calls from panicked users from the east that don't read the first post before flashing!

mine too. is because OnePlus included uncertified software that doesn't pass Google's tests! bad qa or back door creation?

For those who got their Google Pay broken after updating.
Presumably got it fixed by doing the following:
Go to Play Store, find Google Pay. Click Uninstall, then confirm it. When it uninstalls, for some reason you will find Update button next to it. Tap it and you are good to go.

It does no longer say that you can't use it. But I haven't yet had a chance to actually try and see if it works. Lemme know if it works on your side.

I managed to get Google Pay working again on my 6 by following the info listed in this thread.

The key is getting Google Services Framework zapped as well. It's not found in app list, but can be found using search in settings.

Adaptive Battery, charge to 80%, charge rest to 100%, when it learns individual habits. Is this included in Open Beta 4 for your OP6T?
