OxygenOS Open Beta 4 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro

    guys please help me ....I was using Google pay from the play store before but now after the update I got two Google pay apps on my phone...

    the 1st pic is the newly seen Google pay....and the other is the normal/usual one.....please help me out guys .....I can't even make payments on the new one....and neither can I uninstall it as it is a system built in app.....

    Uninstall/disable the "old" one? You have to at least disable one of them. Right now, they're conflicting with each other and why neither works right now.

    the old one works even now.....the newly appeared is not at all accepting my card details so....I may have to disable that.....but why have they given us same app twice??
    hope OnePlus recognises this and fixes it....

    well, you're in India, right?
    you get a native app that used to be called Tez (now just Google pay for India users only.) and the other Google Pay app that recently appeared is the regular Google Pay app for the rest of the world. That's why the new one isn't accepting your cards. Because you have an India-exclusive app.
    If you're familiar with ADB commands you can simply uninstall the new app by running the following command:

    >adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel

    Yes, this is an installer error on OP's part. You also now have Netflix preinstalled and two file managers. They are aware by now.

    If it bugs you a lot, you can use a substratum theme to fix:

    Also I think choosing Nuanced dark theme in Customization fixes it. I forget since I use substratum now.

    Because security patch and Google Play system update are two different things. The Play system update is tied to you Google Play Services version. The security patch is tied to your firmware date.

    Can anyone help me. when oneplus is launching a stable OTA version instead of these Open Beta versions? I need to Install a stable version for oneplus 7 having all bugs fixed.

    It will wipe everything on your phone automatically. Make backups first and store off of phone (PC/online) because the backups will get wiped too.
