You have to ask in the 5T forum thread. You're in the wrong place.

So there is no way now to close out all the open apps in one shot? I don't see any x button for this option. Am I missing something? actually it does pop up. but only when an app is open. if your on the home screen it doesn't give u an option for x all apps. is this a bug, an oversight, or is there some other reason why this is happening. would they do this on purpose for any reason?

Holy cow,Was watching the 6t launch yesterday and the guy was talking about nightscape, next day we get it on the 6,Great work OnePlus developers,Hoping to see more features added soon. Giving some of the new features to the 6 where possible increases customer bsatisfaction with the 6 even though we're being relegated to second best OnePlus device behind the 6t

gestures need a bit more polish, not quite smooth enough and quite finicky sometimes. on the right path though, big improvement over the old ones, just needs more work to be perfectly smooth and intuitive

That's from the home screen? it only let's me if I'm all ready on an app. with it opened all ready. if your not on an app. it gives no x option. I will restart and see if things change.

Issues encountered upon running the 1st beta till the latest one (OpenBeta6)

Proper naming on the app cards. Example, Google Assistant will have it's own card yet it's only listed as Google beside the three dots. This also applies to Data Usage, Storage and Battery when opening them from the Dashboard.

Issues encountered on the recents menu as well as when using the Google NavBar such as:
    • Can't open recents menu while on App Drawer.
    • Opening the recents menu while in an app doesn't feel and look the same as from opening it from the home screen.

These aren't issues, but suggestions for the next Open Beta:
    • Have the action bar removed in Settings leaving the search bar as it takes up unutilized space.

There is not portrait lightning because at the event they never said that 6 will have it. Just nightscape was referred.

to be frank, stable channel has become a joke. not a single update was pushed after first update.
and beta is like rushing forward with updates.
Beta maybe for testing new features and filled with bugs but is stable version free of bugs?
most of the time it contains same amount of bugs as beta then I see less importance of stable version.
and new features are not so critical that they need so much time to test, for example power button assistant activation was introduced in Beta 3 and hasn't even made to stable..and now all these...stable version is having September Patch while beta is rocking November one..
OnePlus should get rid of beta altogether and focus on single channel for updates... that's my personal view of course.
