phone is heating up consistently causing battery drain. intellegent control on the battery optimization seems to be flawed and have major issues.

Don't get the point of monthly security patch. Why everyone is bothered about security patch this much? OnePlus update schedule had been always bi-monthly security updates. Anything extra is mere bonus. Monthly security patches are there only for pixel devices and android one devices as far as I know. A regular user won't be that much affected by security issues, even if their security patch is outdated.

I'm really satisfied with OB6, till 30th Nov my OP7 was running on so called stable update 10.0.2. I don't know how many software engineers are here in this community who are continuosly posting about the unstability of android 10 OB6 for OP7/7pro. but as a normal user I have been not facing any big issue with OB6 except a few which are quit acceptable and normal users i don't think will complaint about those bugs. one thing most of the OB6 users are complaining is battery issue. these guys are continuously stressing on this issue as if they their phones battery is draining from 100 to 0 within 1 or 2 hour. if I compare battery draining of OB6 with Pie i would say the difference is not more than 5%. I play COD Mobile i have most of the social media apps which are continuously active in background, my location is always on, i use MI Band 3 so my OP7's bluetooth is also continuously on. In office hours most of the time I use my phone's internet in my laptop via Hotspot. I would say I'm also a kind of heavy user of phone. AND I'M VERY MUCH SATISFIED WITH OB6.

Most people now days have more sensitive data on their phones than they do on their computers...

If Google is actively remediating their OS to mitigate the vulnerabilities in the software, then a reasonable person would expect to receive those patches ASAP.

Bad guys are actively looking for any way to exploit the vulnerabilities either for financial gain or simply for fun.

Based on this, what do you think is the delay in getting this code base out of beta?

Could this be a machine learning issue that takes a bit of time to optimize?

I accept. But no other OEMs push monthly security patches other than Google's own pixels and Android One devices. If so, every other android user is at risk. Then those who save that much sensitive datas in their phones should then consider buying such devices only. OnePlus is even otherwise infamous for data breach;)

Anyone having issues with calls dropping? I've got the 7 Pro GM1913 unlocked using EE in the UK. switched from 10.0.2 to Beta 6 but the problem persists across both stable and beta versions. Outgoing calls cut off after 20 seconds but sometimes can stay connected for a couple of minutes. Tried with WiFi calling, VoLTE, WiFi disabled and data disabled but still having the same issues. Rebooting and wiping caches doesn't seem to make a difference either

Anyone able to shed some light?

was not aware of that until now and they dont even bother about it.
But I am very conscious about my security and everyone should be.
