The navigation panel is not truly black in dark mode. Sometimes the whole screen will be black and the navigation bar will be bright white.
Defeating the whole purpose of having a dark mode.

Try to send an email to T-Mobile because they are trying to modify the firmware that came from Oneplus. Oneplus has nothing to do about it. That's why it is better not buy carrier locked phones.

    Hello all ,
Last update made my pro slow and really unresponsive so I took the dive and did a D.F.R never like doing that unless I really have to. Phone is better now just like always resetting takes time to recovery ... Hope people have better luck with last update ...

I've did some tests with both slider and bar.
Some apps work greatly. With even the small slider as transperant. Google Calender for example.
Some apps is black or white in that area. Some even are white during loading and black later and depending on what you do in the app.
I use Swiftkey so the bar below keyboard has always been filled with keyboard theme, but I can assume the bar has similar behavior.
So my theory regarding the smaller slider bar is that it's up to the apps to define it. If it's not defined the OS seems to guess what to do. Similar seems to be applied to the other bar.
The strange thing is that some with Gboard has that bar area filled out with keyboard theme while some don't.

swiping back on the top third of the screen no longer pulls out the side menu. it just goes back.

is this intentional? I use the android 10 gestures all the time and have gotten very used to being able to pull out side menus by swiping the top third of the screen.

According to some posts it's intended. Someone mentioned that you need to hold a moment before swiping.
I'm not even sure what menu we have a problem with... Hidden hamburger menu or what?
I don't use stock launcher so....

holding for a second seems to work. very inconsistent though.
it is the hidden hamburger menu I am talking about. try in Gmail app or play store. swiping the top third used to pull out the hamburger menu. like you say I now have to hold for a sec.
    thanks.

The hamburger meny should be available everywhere in play store? I haven't used Gmail for a long time. Will test some more apps.

I've noticed a bug in landscape mode. When using landscape mode or watching YouTube in landscape, if I swipe down to use notification panel, I only get to see notifications but I cannot see any toggles or quick setting menu. Does anyone else have the same problem??
    Please find me a solution.
