    Hey everyone,

Here are the latest open beta builds for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

    Changelog
    • System
      • Adjusted the layout of the emergency rescue in the password lock screen
      • Fixed the issue that the Horizon light has a small probability of failing to turn on
      • Updated Android Security Patch to 2021.02
    • Camera
      • Optimized the stability

Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometimes not as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks. For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, we appreciate your active feedback and for reaching out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to getting your continued feedback via the Community app.

If you don't have the Community app installed on your device, feel free to download it HERE. You can check here for more information on the integrated Feedback tool.

    Please note:
    • If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta), you will receive this new build as an OTA.
    • If you are not running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions and the full ROM on the downloads page here.
    • Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will no longer receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
    • Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).
Make sure to let us know how you feel about the beta builds here in the thread too. We are watching.

    Never Settle.

@Abdul B. can you provide more details about what is fixed camera side? Does this fix the "crazy" autofocus issue?

Will you unlock all lenses for 3rd party apps as filmic pro again? I hope this update to fix this... (Although I don't think so)

It looks like the camera version is still the same. Video recording now only uses EIS, not EIS+OIS (from what I can tell), to prevent the lag issues

This seems a major issue and not sure why OnePlus isn't able to solve it. No excuses can be given on this thing, OnePlus is clueless!

Nothing New in this open beta. Other companies are providing March security patch and oneplus is still rolling out Fabruary security patch in open beta. The software department of oneplus is going down. This is the biggest issue for falling a company. I will never buy a oneplus phone. Very disappointed 😒

Yeh I also bought nord as the third device but this will be the last OnePlus device I will use, now will go for samsung since it is also offering 4 years of security updates and 3 years of software. And it also probided Android 11 to it's devices very fast.

I have been using beta software for months and now I want to go back to the stable version. How can I do that?
I tried downloading the lastest stable version in the OnePlus US page and using the "Local update" option on my phone settings, but it didn't work. said:
    I have a OP8, IN2010, currently still in Open Beta 6
