the only way I got Netflix to work is to download an app and install it. it's so wierd that OnePlus included Netflix but the app can't be uninstalled or updated from the play store. I'm on stock beta 8 rn, if I relock bootloader will Netflix behave normally again?

    hi there
unlocking/relocking your bootloader shouldn't affect the way the Netflix apps behave.

what you could do as a possible fix is to turn on developer options, turn on USB debugging, then connect to your pc and run these ADB commands:
(I assume you already have access to ADB if you managed to unlock the bootloader?)

    >adb shell

    >pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.netflix.mediaclient

    >pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.netflix.partner.activation

and then just reinstall via PlayStore to get regular app updates

I'm using Google app beta, but I'd don't have dark mode.

Anyone having issues with non responsive touch on the left/right edges of the screen? Like dead zones or something..

    yes, I am.
I believe the issue is linked to the new reachability mode or touch rejection of some sort, 'cause when I turn that off the issue goes away. I think the software is trying to decide if you're trying to pull the screen down or not then it rejects touch...
that's why I suggested a few pages back that OnePlus implements a way to tweak sensitiveness of the gesture in a future update.

as a temporary fix you can disable one-handed mode in buttons & gestures settings.

Oh OK very cool, well at least you figured out the cause. I turned off the one handed mode and that seemed to do the trick! Thanks!

How about any Bluetooth connectivity issues? Mainly when steaming music. Like constant cut outs and such.

I understand that it's not an easy time for the OnePlus company and for China in general because of the Coronavirus, but I believe that they could still issue an official statement explaining the situation and some indications of the timing in which they believe updates will be resumed. This silence does not give a nice image of the company, in my opinion, I think that writing a short press release would be nothing dramatic, and would be useful to make customers understand how things really are and what we must expect in the near future...
