i installed beta 7, then local upgrade to beta 8, went to recovery, wiped everywhing including internal storage for f2fs data partition.

my phone is always on mobile data and my screen on time figures are usually around 1.4-2.5 hours after 12 hours on battery and my percentage is about 50% remaining when i get home(before leaving off to work i charge to 90% and never above that). and this is when im using Both 4g sims, Reliance JIO and Idea 4g, ofcourse since my jio is the primary the idea sim idles at UMTS connection, these figures are insane since earlier i used to reach home at 20-15% battery on the exact same usage.

Question: Will next open beta be OTA to our open beta 7 users? And when can we get a Nougat OTA update?

Most probably not, u will have to manually update to beta 8 then u will get beta 9 via OTA, the reason is f2fs file system supported on nougat.
As far as official OTA for nougat should be there by the end of December.

This makes no sense, what does f2fs have to do with it? I can see if beta 8 only supports f2fs then anyone not using it already would possibly be unable to OTA update. What makes you think f2fs is going to be obligatory henceforth?

Totally and utterly, my bad. I forgot that I had reverted to Open Beta 7, yesterday for testing purposes. DUH! Having said that, I did not experience any issues with TCW in the week that I was on Nougat.

So I performed a factory reset from the phone's settings and then went straight into TWRP to wipe the Cache. I just rebooted and there were no changes, as if I didn't just factory reset. All of my apps and app data currently seem to be present. Should I wipe everything from TWRP? (Other than internal storage, and system)

He asked if the next CB will be via OTA, and since beta 8 wasn't so will be beta 9, the reason for beta 8 not being an OTA was a complete new OS and f2fs file system.(Since u had to format the internal storage for the same).
There might be an alternative for the official update, but beta 9 wont be an OTA over beta 7.

Since I installed Nougat Beta, my car Parrot CK3100 cannot keep the Bluetooth connection. Previously it worked perfectly. Anyone else with this problem? I already did a factory reset in recovery.

Actually, my friend's iPhone 5 battery degrades pretty much after about 2-2,5 years of usage. The total capacity degrades to -+900mAh (from about 1440mAh designed total capacity) (there's an app to see that on iOS, never know on Android). After he replaced the battery, the app detect the new ones in full capacity, and the usage time of the phone was improved significantly.

But since I bought a new phone (almost) once every year (sometimes 1,5 year), this degradation thing aren't bother me much. If the battery do degrades but you want to keep the phone, you can just replace it with the new battery, rather than having to recharge/discharge it on certain percent. Just my two cents -- each person has different priorities. ☺️

But you are only using 40% of available capacity, even your friend with his horrific degradation, I'd have returned that phone as unfit for purpose sold, still had more available battery percentage than that after 2 years usage, crazy, crazy people.
