So basically I should've reverted to default recovery before jumping to beta...
Then sideload the beta zip and factory reset to get f2fs, and re-flash TWRP once a compatible one is out.

Problem is that now I don't trust myself going back to M, since I probably need to run the OP unbrick tool to do it, so I'm still stuck on ext4 :(

Nice first let everybody brick their phones using twrp and then just add a line this build is not compatibel with TWRP.
WHAT A SOLUTION the problemm is resources if you want proper beta testing please know your community as most here cant live without TWRP.

Vulkan does not help with game loading, it's a graphical API that, from what I can understand, optimizes the graphical engine to be less reliant on the CPU. AFAIK, there aren't many games using it yet, Asphalt doesn't use it. Only these games use Vulkan so far:

Game loading is improved by the new file system called f2fs. To get it on the OP3 you need to reboot to recovery and then do a full factory reset with format of the data partition. This from the stock recovery, I have no idea how to do this with custom recoveries. I did it myself and the phone feels like 2x faster even compared to a regular factory reset.

And then have the official OTA for Nougat end of year, just because some buggers can't wait one bloody month because they are jealous of OP3T owners. Wow.

    Can't wait to install...

Let's see if it is as stable as the last MM Open Beta 7 ROM.
If it is, then hopefully we'll get a stable release in December for the OP3 and OP3T, which will combine those two update paths into one.

So I can't post a bug as it says I must first get five replies. Please can someone reply to this so I begin posting bugs? My battery drained in a few hours with Google Play Services using 10h of an awake lock!!

So it seems that you need to set the phone back to zero and that twrp is not working with this build.

Conclusions: dont update guys and WAIT.

If it will be the same with ota, that i have to reset, i ll switch to cyanogen 14, because it seems to be better prepared for the future. (Another) New flagship will arrive in 6 month i guess ;).

Stop the service and re-initiate it. You might not have wiped the cache and data. You can go for clean flash, it should resolve the issue.
