Nope, I tried wiping TWRP in fastboot and that was fine but sideloading Oxygen's stock Rom was next to impossible. The only other alternative I cant think of is to flash a stock rom 3.2.7 which will unroot your phone and then upgrade to an earlier community build like 3.5 before flashing cb8

That's good to know. Maybe i'll just use default for now then - even though dark mode is by far my favourite.

Thanks a lot for the info. I thought I screwed up somewhere while flashing. Btw my recovery is asking for a password on rebooting to recovery and I think I forgot that :/ There's a forgot password option but then it says it will clean wipe my phone. Any way around that or is there any default pattern which is set for it because the recovery was working fine before I got to Open Beta 8

Oh yeah, you're right I'm butt hurt about the fact that they released a better phone in 6 months and discontinued OP3 and also released 3.5.x for OP3T instead of OP3 which was used for testing that. You may find that justifiable but not to me. Hey, free world right. But that doesn't mean what I stated is any less true.

This is why I think that it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure that the recovery got updated. If you flashed the latest MM community build you had options to install a zip either via adb sideload or directly from the internal storage. The latter is not present in that recovery, so I suspect that the recovery got updated but the link on their website is not up to date.

It's not been the case so far with other CBs so I think you can probably assume that you'll need to wipe to get the stable OTA.
