If you don't mind could you name some of the apps you do have installed and which you use.

But it wouldn't even offer this level of optimisation, performance and overall great UX.

Not certain what's causing your battery issues, but I know for certain that social media apps ( Instagram , for instance) are the biggest culprits.

I agree. Your expectations are justified. I suggest that you should do a factory reset and check. Also, search the forum for similar issues. Most often, solutions are already available.

Then that's even stranger. I have GPS on all the time and I still get a full work day's usage - easily.

I have done all possible things still no outcome I even sent the logs it's ridiculous that such an expensive phone can't last me a day with minimal use

Even standby eats up a lot of battery but doesn't show up in the logs

Did the test with Beta 9 and Magisk 18, the issue still persists.

Please check your phone signal, after the screen its the things that most drains the battery if you live in an area with poor signal (specially if you have 2 SIM cards). First check the signal bars and them download an app to see how your signal strength stack up against people that have good battery life.

You better monitor that couple of apps then, those are the culprit

I wish the phone app had a way to "smart block" calls based on number combinations. Meaning, I wish you could tell it to auto-block calls that start with "12345" or contain "9876" because some spam callers will repeatedly call from a same number combo.
I have to separately use Hiya because of this

yes I too agree. I have also suggested the same. you can use this feature in Huawei phones..it's a must have for many of us.
