No, this is "device connections" which contains various connectivity settings. Again, Bluetooth is NOT used for any form of screen casting. Cast can use either Miracast or Chromecast (extra step for Miracast) and neither use Bluetooth. You don't need the device connection screen either as you can screen mirror from a QS tile.

The claim that a Bluetooth bug is affecting screen casting of any kind is simply false

I agree that Chromecast and Screencast works over WiFi, but to turn it on Screencast you have to first go into Bluetooth settings. It did work in Open beta 8, it's not working in Open beta 9. Even though to turn Screencast on and off is there in Bluetooth Settings, it's not connecting finding the device to connect to in Open beta 9.

You people just live to argue. It does NOT say Bluetooth Settings. It says "Bluetooth and Device Connection". That is not the same thing. Again, you can also use the QS option. Yes, screen casting is dead, but why would you use it? Regular app casting works fine and is more powerful. Buy a Chromecast and enjoy. They are 20 bucks and it's way more efficient

My disagreement that a Bluetooth bug is affecting screen casts still stands.

Since beta 9 it seems like oxygen os is in battery saving mode all the time. Even with battery saver disable (like Always) most. Notifications only Appears when phone is wake up using power Button.
Apps which need permanently GPS location like navigation instantly lost GPS when display is locked

after a few days of settling in, this battery life has been amazing. getting somewhere between 7-9 hours of SOT on my OnePlus 7.

there are a few bugs, but nothing too major. everything is running smoothly.

Hello all. I've been using OP7 open betas since OB5 until now. almost everything is fine. OB9 removed "intentionally?" one handed mode which I didn't miss but it woul be nice to have the option.
One thing that never ever got fixed and Oneplus should really care about is AUTO BRIGHTNESS. pleeeeaseee fix it. It is too aggressive in dark situations and never remembers the darkest level I set. It always goes tback to minimum brightness the next time I turn the screen on in a dark place. That is the only thing that annoys me, other than that Oxygen OS would be perfect.

    Thanks for this amazing phone.

P.S. is there any work around for the auto brightness issue?

It weirds me out not getting official apps. Heard good things about the mod though.

what are you talking about? What official apps? You have all the "official" apps. Google Camera is the camera app for PIXEL phones and is not supposed to be running on anything else.

But ... developers have managed to make it run. As for performance, I think somewhere between GCam and OOS Cam is where things need to be. I've overlaid shots in both and they look great ... if you can keep the camera perfectly still between shots!

There's that consistency popping up again.

By official, I mean getting it on the Google's Play Store. Side loading is not for me.

tap the APK and click install. I trust most developers more than Google and WAY more than a mobile carrier.
