Paint Chipping Problem Update Jan 30, 2018

    I have escalated this paint Chipping Issue to the Manager level and lot of arguments between me and him for last 20 days. I have told him that many persons from community got replaced under warranty. One of the person from community helped me with providing his delivery information receipt of replacement under warranty. But manager is asking me to provide JOB SHEET NO. If anybody availed replacement of back cover through warranty please provide the JOB SHEET NO so that everyone can able to replace.

    iam also facing the same issue. OnePlus is telling that its cosmetic damage cannot cover under warranty. very pathetic issue for phone costs 32k.

    Its under warranty and has to get replaced. The service centre guy clicked the pics and sent them for approval. Got that approval within 20 mins. And then he replaced the back panel.

    Although keep in mind... for me ..after replacement... the side buttons (power and volume) became very flimsy and loose. I tried to get it fix... bt no use... oneplus customer care just ask to keep my only phone with them and diagnose, which is unacceptable for me.

    I am pretty sure the provided cover is causing the trouble..just rub your finger on inner surface it is like a scrapper and if it catches some dust or sand ...it will be blocked and constantly brush the surface with phone back and the damage is assured...

    any case which is not a gel case should be good...they would have not given this cheap case :(

    I got a 90% transparent case. (10% black)
    No red case came in the box for me.
    Is yours 5T red colour edition? I'm not aware of any red cover included in the box

    even the service guy told me to use some other cover and not the default cover. Its just not healthy for your phone's back panel. Try any other covers.

    I prefer without case in the box rather than with case but useless. lol
