after updating to android 11 yesterday i started getting this notice 'parameters not available' when i try to copy/move files in the phone; it doesn't always happen, but it's kinda frequent and it's very annoying. Any solutions on this?

This is a known issue in Android 11 and Google's Scoped Storage for many file managers.

Google will finally let file manager apps request “All Files Access” on Android 11 next month

In the meantime, try using the Google Files app from the Playstore, it should allow you to copy and paste files.

thanks a lot. After extensive testing i did about this issue, i figured in the end that one specific folder was somehow caught in a limbo, couldn't move it around. But somehow this copy/move files even from phone to pc sometimes gives me headaches, it doesn't want to copy specific folders in bulk, if i copy them separately is okay, but all together cannot, dunno

I think it's linked back to File manager permissions and access as per the scoped Storage issues Google have mentioned above.

Glad you found a workaround 👍

Some have had success with CX File Explorer from the Playstore. But it didn't work for others for some reason. It is down to the security built into the scoped storage that Google introduced to Android 11 for all phones.
