[Partially Released] Community App 2.8.0 with Your Phone Signature Sep 16, 2019

    Hey there,

    Have you noticed the exclusive signature in Pete's launch event announcement?

    V2.8.0.png

    We'll introduce this feature - Signature in the upcoming Community app V2.8.0. You will be able to choose your current phone model and showcase it to other community users. When you post or reply with the Community app, your device signature will display under your avatar. Isn't it cool? Of course, if you don't feel comfortable with it, you can simply turn it off.

    Here's the step to set your signature in Community app V2.8.0:
    Community app -> Profile -> Edit -> Signature

    The Community App V2.8.0 is available now! Feel free to try it out and let us know how you like it in the comments below.

    This feature addition has made the user forum level to go from red to light grey making it very difficult to read.

    Is there a chance for the Dark Mode to be toggled according to the system's picked theme, like every other OnePlus app does?

    Nice!! I love the app with its dark mode, but I find a bit annoying that the first time I open a notification it goes to the begining of the thread and I have to go back and tap the notification again for it to go to the notification message.
    Sent already as a suggestion but maybe here is more useful.
    Anyway thank you for the community app and this new improvement!!

    I was a awaiting a way better compression algorithms like @hennes is using in his famous YaImCo app, so we can upload our pictures in best possible quality and not as blurry, bad compressed thumbnails like the community app is doing right now. Signatures are just some gimmick, but not essential in my eyes. But glad to see any kind of improvement...
