Bout 15cm of insulation and brick walls help to remedy that part of it.

Ddr2 would have been an extreme bottleneck for the rest of your system

I don't game much, if i do i game randomly on my PC and PS4.

My PC was doing well for games but looks like it needs upgrading already as it struggles to run today's newer games at acceptable performance and settings, looks like maybe Nvidia drivers dropped it since last year less priority and focusing on their newer GPU's selling instead

Replacing the 750Ti to a GTX 10xx card first might be the logical option
Unless you're looking to upgrade the entire platform ofcourse.

Go with an RX 480, if you want a great budget gaming card, it will do perfectly fine for most AAA games

Rx470 or 480 is a great option especially for their prices.

I haven't had the best of experiences with stability when it comes to AMD's Crimson drivers on my RX 460 lately or even the Radeon drivers that came out of the box.
Not saying I wouldn't still recommended the RX 4xx cards.
Rolling back to earlier drivers works usually if the new ones are iffy.

My 480 is running great, only issue I had was a motherboard one (fixed) but getting great performance on the latest drivers. Actually he force experience drivers gave me a lot of crap, especially with sli enabled (blank screen issues).

Recently built two systems for friends, one 460(with and 6xxx 6 core, since on sale due to ryzen release) and one 470 build (with i5 6600, due to sale on upgrade kits)

So I just bought the Mad Max game on sale (~$5 or something crazy). Played a couple of hours of it, was running perfectly fine. Came back to it the next day and I'm getting about 7fps. Yet another hint that my old dinosaur is in need of retirement.
