Persist.img file

I would really need someone to help me out with this. Could someone with a rooted 5T do me a massive favor? I need a persist.img file extracted. My sensors are broken on every Android 10 ROM. I've seen people with the regular 5 that got it working by using the persist partition extracted from another device. It can be done in one of 3 ways:
    1. Using this app and backing up persist as an .img:
    2. Running these commands in adb on a computer:
    adb shell
    dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist
    3. Running this command in terminal on TWRP:
    dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist

I would really appreciate if someone would help me out. I have tried litteraly everything to fix this issue except this. I've seen a bunch of people that managed to fix it this way. Thanks in advance!

I'm using OnePlus 6T. Somewhere I got this command dd if=/dev/block/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist.img which is different than yours. When I use my command, it saves a 32mb persist.img file. But when i used your command, the termux got cancer and shows unidentified ascii type characters simultaneously with tons of vibration. I got a mini heart attack and instantly closed my termux app. Please correct it.
