Hey has anyone else faced this issue. Battery dies after charge gets lower than 15 percent.

Today I rebooted the phone at 16 percent charge with charger plugged in and the phone just died. Stock charger did not help for more than half an hour. Then used another charger to bring it back to life. Now charging with the stock charger.

    Any solutions?

    P. S. - I don't have issues with battery life, which is very good.

Try once clearing the cache from recovery (Vol- + Power button.) and restating after that. Hope it helps.

I guess recovery is volume down + power and not volume up + power (this will take you to fast boot)

Well it is an issue with your phone because mine works even till 2 percent while watching videos
So try to use battery calibration app from play store

Recovery is Volume- and power button together. Sorry for wrong information. That will take you to fastboot. Yes ut happened to me only once. So i guess it is some random issue.

I also faced this issue, I did a factory reset and i calibrated my battery too(You need root access to calibrate the battery), but it didnt help me much. My battery got dead at around 7-8% after this. Now i have installed LiquidSmooth lollipop rom and I am on my first charge cycle and will see how the battery behaves on this ROM. This will confirm if it is a software issue.

Yup I had the same problem with one of my earlier phones. But in this there is no problem of battery life.

Discharge it zero then charge it 100% without powering on your device this fixed my problem earlier.

@v4v3n Let me know your course of action. Battery life is still great but just that you have it from 100 to 25 rather than having from 100 to 0. I am just hoping its not a hardware issue, software will be fixed in later updates.

Check your charging method. After fully charged phone is being used - battery is dying in fact to reach 0. If your use is heavy definitely it will not work long. You may be keeping the network data enabled always. You can disable it if not using the net. result will be tremendous.
