    Bro, I think you turned on vibrate using the alert slider, if alert slider is moved to centre position then the manual change using volume and in settings will not work, so check whether the alert slider is set to ring mode, if it is placed in center then slide it back to down.

    Let me know whether this solved your issue...

    the middle slider will not move. the icon underneath (vibrate) will not change.

    If the alert slider doesn't work then you can't change it in settings because software cannot override the hardware specifications.

    So kindly get it repaired in the service centre.
