I can sense my new 5T phone slowing down in performance. It was much faster initially than it is now. Any response on how to speed up the performance?

Oh no! It's a conspiracy to sell the yet to be announced OP6. If your phones are slowing down it's probably because you've installed a bunch of shite apps on them yourselves.

4GB ram is more than enough for android(Stock) to function properly, provided you don't load all the apps in the world which you're never going to use, let all kinds of background apps running like crazy. My 4 year old Nexus with stock Android N is running like it's new. Learn to understand and use your phone properly.

keep only the apps you need and remove the rest.

    wipe your cache.

you know what? this is actually OnePlus's fault. they should have loaded their phones with unnecessary crap and bloatware, gimmicks and themes and you people will say it's all fast and without issues.

having a pure android phone with super minimal customizations with 6GB of frigging RAM and saying "my phone is slow, don't know why" is the dumbest statement ever.

    sorry.

I still don't have the 4.7.5 update, but I'll go on a limb and say that you probably need to clear the cache after the update. I still haven't read on how to boot to recovery on this thing as I have it since a week only and don't intend on rooting it anytime soon. But it should be a simple procedure to do a cache wipe.

Clear your cache. Google it. YouTube it. But clear your cache. I bought mine opening day and use it 8 hours a day for personal and business. This phone flys. The OS is lean. I get 8 hours of screen time and I have 2 SIM cards going. It's not the hardware/device. it's the users!
