M1571305963446 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 2, 2021 : I have had this one plus7t since October 19 and over the last past 6 months I have had a problem of the phone going onto silent mode I have carried out a reboot and reinstall, didn't work and have had it sent back to the factory twice for repairs and still it has the same fault anyone else having this problem John
MohanParmar , via OnePlus 7T Glacier Blue , Mar 2, 2021 : If you are facing issues even after getting it repaired from authorised service centre, then there might be some third party app causing this
Helder_DAlmeida , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 2, 2021 : Your alert slider is in position for ring tone on right?
Gabbarsingh95 , via OnePlus 7T Pro , Mar 3, 2021 : Yes, check the alert slider it should be down for ringing and if it is on mid then it is in vibrate mode. Swipe it down to ringing mode.
M1571305963446 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 3, 2021 : Yes slidder is in the correct position. I have reduced the amount of apps on phone to a minimum and it's still doing it driving me crazy as only indication of receiving a call is screen lights up
Aaron2017 , Mar 3, 2021 : It goes to actual silent mode or does it still vibrates when you get notifications as it would if you set the slider in the vibrate position?
Aaron2017 , Mar 3, 2021 : I've had the same thing happening to me, turns out i accidentally pressed the power and volume up button at the same time, which puts the phone in silent mode, but it would still vibrate. I also had to change settings on my smartwatch when i bought one, because it happened then too, something with bluetooth connectivity
M1571305963446 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 3, 2021 : My seems to have a mind of its own and switches onto silent at anytime even at night when phone is just sitting there so I can't blame myself and to go into both silent and not to vibrate is just very annoying. Pretty poor response from OnePlus I must say
Aaron2017 , Mar 3, 2021 : I've found this on Google, it seemed to fix it for a lot of people, don't know if it'll work or if you or the customer support already tried it.
M1571305963446 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 3, 2021 : Thanks will try it later and let you know how I get on. I do think that this problem is common in the OnePlus 7 and it can't be fixed
Bobbie63 , Mar 3, 2021 : Maybe a stupid question but could it be Do Not Disturb is switched on or a planning for DND set?
M1571305963446 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 3, 2021 : No not a do not disturb, I have also completely wiped clean the phone on numerous occasions and when it gets sent for repair it has to be completely wiped clean so on reinstalling it goes back to factory settings.
RAMEEZA2K15 , via OnePlus 7T , Mar 21, 2021 : There might be a third party app So contact the OnePlus customer care Or visit the nearest OnePlus service centre
