Hey I am just wondering how many of us are facing this issue where in the phone switches off without going all the way down to 0??

My phone seems to switch off at anywhere between 14 to 20%.

My previous Moto x used to hang around at 0% charge for almost 2 hours.

Although the battery life is still decent. Any way to fix this battery calibration??

please cast your vote, so that we at least have a count of how many of us are facing this issue. Then OPO will take some initiative to solve it.

Hm.. actually i never faced it.. probably because when i see the battery below waring i just connect the charger. Let me now test this case.

On the way, while searching for this issue on the forum, it seems the OnePlus One tech support saying its a battery calibration problem and most probably, we need to reflash the ROM - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/phone-is-shutting-off-when-battery-is-at-15.144479/#post-7025597

Also there is another thread with somewhat similar issue - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...ooting-due-over-discharge.88107/#post-4289855

battery calibration problem just download app called battery calibration in playstore then
charge to 100% till no more mV are increasing
    then recalibrate
ps-u need to be rooted for this to work

With all those threads and post where phone would refuse to charge after going to 0% for about a day i never let it go down till more than 10-15% generally (tested it to 5% once)

Oh yes I had faced this issue also. I rebooted the phone at 20 % charge. The phone switched off and refused to power on for at least an hour. Then I had to use another charger for it to power on.

In fact one more peculiar thing happened. The phone switched off at 15%. I put it on charge and switched it on and somehow the clock caught on to some time in the past. and refused to change. After some manual settings only did it show the correct time.

I actually put it to charge most of the time around 15% but sometime i drain it to 5% to keep up with calibration
